The original Modular Throw-off
Match-up Retroplate™
allows you to take

aftermarket Nickelworks and Trick Throw-offs without sacrificing the
value of your snare drum.
I personally use the Nickelworks/MTM Retroplate™ with both of my DW
snare
drums and it absolutely made the difference.
The snare sound opened up, the snares fully released when in the “off”
position and the drum was lighter after removing those heavy, clunky
factory throw-offs! It replaces either the DW Drop Throw-off or the
Delta Throw-off! It replaces the Gretsch Lightning Throw-off! It also
replaces the Pearl SR-015 Throw-off!
